ten days at silence camp was one of the hardest things ive ever done. and to make matters worse i had an allergic reaction to something that left me sitting silently with itchy burning bumps all over my upper body. it was good though and am glad i di it. if you want to check it out you can google vipassana on the i net to get comlete information.
i spent a lot of time in there thinking about where i was going to go after i got out on the thirteenth. my birthday was on the fourteenth and i was supposed to go to the city of lost angels to see my friend dave harvey's band play from olympia wa, i wish i could say the name of it but hes in so many bands i cant keep track it may have been called the 'arm' though. i realised half way through the sit that i had left my digicam in pismo so i knew for sure i would go there first. i ended up staying for five or six days with some friends that used to play in the band 'ranch 51' .we bombed a lot on the hills of san louis obispo and i tattooed a bunch and hung out with gary and robert from tried and true tattoo in arroyo grande, they definately have one of the better shops ive been to on the central coast and i think they have www if you want to check them out as well.
im in hollywood now and its totally dumping. i ve been here like three days as of today with my friends scott and raybn. there really friggin cool. the first night that i got here there was a party and art opening down at the volcom whare house that was pretty fun my other friend from tejas mikey seiben had some art up and i was supposed to meet up my friend davey for some drinks and good talk and when he showed it was with some other friends from portland that go all over the place and build delicious skateboard parks where people like me and you and go around and hit the pikes.all in all it was its been fucking great being in l a . way better tha in any time of my life.i skated the glendale park a couple of days ago with d j ginger buns and some surely em efs that prefer killing pools than to people. the,,, last night i went out and saw mono play. if you havent you should. thats all im going to say about it. theyre on tour right now so if you check theyre site and maybe go and see them play then i think you be better of f than you are right now.......seriously.r |
