hello. im in santa cruz, california. and hope you good wherever you are. about a week ago , ithink, i hit it and headed for grants pass o.r., whew, finally. i think overall i left a bout two weeks late. southern oregon id say was perfectly beautiful, a geat change from the ice storm in the pdx that nearly stopped me in my tracks. i was there to visit my friend lorina. i met here in olypia like 10 years ago or so. we worked in heaven, burrito heaven that is. now shes married with two beautiful kids.it kind of fulfilledd this side of me that would have kids and that kind of cool life in the mountais of sp or. and wasnt like i was tripping on it, i really liked it just its not for me right now.i could have easily stayed for weeks and done a totol sociology report on the various scenes that reside in such a small town.
from there i drove towards "the city" every one said it would take 4 hours , it took me 9. 2 hours out side of s.f. i accididently threw my cell phone in to the trash. an hour later i realised it and had to back track.and luckily there it was at the rest stop . i dont think anyone understood when i retrived it and yelled for glory.
i got to san francisco at 10:00 and was at the bar by 10:30.. not exactly what ii was planning on but nice none the less. i was buzzed from the road and felt oh so social. it was nice too talk to strangers and it was nice to feel like the trip was for real. in a nut shell i stayed at the secret hamburger eyes house (www.hamburgereyes.com), went out, drank, rode my bike all over the city ,saw old friends and tattooed amy brown.....san francisco was efinatly better than ever......i could have easily stayed there for weeks.
im in santa cruz now nad the pace doesnt seem to relent. im at the consolidated factory hanging out with old friends and new friends alike. sskated last night and tried to upload some new photos (to limited avail)surfed today and skated some more and with this amazingly good girl named kenna who redifined how i think of skating and girls.i m exauhsted now and will right more soon.......stay away from battleaxe, i mean it, stay away....p.s. my camera broke and i cant afford to fix it so if you have a nikon body i can use then let me knowwwwwwww......ro
